Near Lovina, Northern Bali - in the Bali Sea!
On September 19th we went out to sea to go dolphin watching. We went a couple of miles before we saw any dolphins. (My dad and maybe Ben saw flying fish.) We had to get up really early at about 5:45 am.
The boat was quite small it looked like a rowing boat with a engine well that’s what it was. Once we got there was quite a lot of dolphins definitely more than 5 of them. It was roughly 1hr 30min before we saw anything it felt like way longer though.
On the way there the sea wasn’t too rough and wavy. I didn’t really like it on the way there because my bumbum got really sore sitting on the wooden plank it also got really sweaty hehe. We did get to see the sun coming up and it was very nice. Dad took some video of our trip.
We got back at about 10:00 am and we already had breakfast made for us - pancakes with sugar my favourite breakfast Mmm yummy! We paid the driver Kadek 600, 0000 Rupee sounds like a lot - it’s like £27 - yeah, very cheap!
This part of Bali is very famous for the dolphins. The big town not far from us - Lovina - means "love Bali" and it has a big statue of a Dolphin.
Great write up Tom, keep up the good work.
