Cosmos Theme Park in Kuala Lumpur

Report By Tom
On Tuesday 3rd of November we went to Cosmos - Berjaya Times Square Theme Park in Kuala Lumpur. To get there we used a monorail. A monorail is like a train only on a levitated track with one rail and for two stops was about 70p - good fun!
When we got there it was a really big mall with Cosmos on the 5th – 8th floors. When we found the entrance we had good news and bad news. The bad news was it was closed. The good news was that it opened in 45 minutes. So we looked around the mall for a while. When we got back to cosmos we got tickets and went to the easy rides.......
Fantasy Garden
The first ride we went on mum and dad were too tall to get on. I think it was called cool Sally’s Sea Adventure. It looked like a boat and it swung in a curved way and swayed from the ground to pretty high.
The second ride we went on was me and Ben again. I can’t remember what it was called but it was fun. It was big bees that you sat in and when it was moving there was a lever and if you pushed up the bee went up and if you let go when you where high it came back down.
After we went on a ride called Crazy Bus. We waited about a minute because there was another family on. The bus was shaped and coloured like an American school bus. It did full spins and was attached to a wall and the bottom was always facing the floor and it wasn’t bad at all.
Next we found bumper cars and me and Ben were like BUMPER CARS!!!!! And we ran straight to them and we were the only ones there so if you ever go to Cosmos and find the bumper cars we were in don’t be surprised if they are scratched. Next we went to ghost trains sounds scary...... but it’s not it is not scary enough to scare a one year old. I’ll admit it was boring plain boring.

Galaxy Station
This is where it gets crazy and exiting. The first ride was called Oorts express. It was cars well not cars but things you sat inside and they spun around really fast and went up but not too high.
After that we went to a special thing called the Haunted House and it was terrifying I nearly cried. I’ll tell you about it I mean why would I not. At first it was just loud noises that made you jump and then there were cages with dog noises and it sounded like the cages were shaking and of course the thing I hate most - Zombie Noises!
Now, this was the worst bit - it was a long hallway that was quite narrow, we didn't know that the wall was hollow with someone behind it banging and then he jumped out at us! Then you exited that scary, scary place. Great fun but a little scary.

Next up was the Rodeo Bull Simulator. You had to pay a little extra to get 2 rides each. It was a fake bull that spins, shakes and tilts and you have to try to stay on for as long as possible. When it finally throws you off you land on soft bouncy ground. It was really hard to stay on as it got faster and faster. I don't think I'll be a Rodeo rider in real life.
Then we went on a ride called Dizzy Izzey - well named! Apparently it was like an old Waltzer - let's just say it made Izzey dizzy and you'll get the idea.
Cosmos was great fun and we really enjoyed the rides. It was amazing to have all this in a shopping centre! When we were finished we had to go to collect our Visas for Thailand and then we had a McDonalds to round off a perfect afternoon.
If you ever go to Kuala Lumpur - I'd definitely recommend Cosmos for a fun afternoon!
